About Emilia
I have mentored and tutored younger students for my whole life. I am now a PhD candidate at University of Aberdeen, and have a lot of experience in helping students with understanding content, literary analysis, and essay-writing. I am a teacher at heart, working towards a career in the field.

I believe that everyone can achieve the goals they have - one just needs to find the correct approach. I draw my methodology from Finland, as I did much of my schooling there, and their education system has been lauded for its individualistic, student-centred approach. I believe in connecting with students and helping them bring content to life in order to create personal attachment to the work, which helps with learning.

You should do anything it takes to get Emilia tutor you because she will go the extra mile to find the best ways to help you. She doesn’t only do the work for money but because she cares. Also, she is familiar with the world wide famous Finnish pedagogy and in addition, has experience in the Brittish and IB systems and ideologies. She is highly academicly skilled but yet can find practical tools for different learning challenges.
Emilia had helped me so much guiding me through my university work. I am dyslexic so I find things hard to understand sometimes. She understands how I might need certain things explained in a different way and she is very accommodating with that. She is kind and patient which I believe makes a perfect tutor.
