About Carlos
I would love to say that I'm a science/art remixer. As a scientist, learning new things every day is an absolute pleasure and a necessity for me, so tutoring is an excellent way to keep my knowledge fresh and learn something new. As an artist, I have written two fantasy novels and am currently completing my third, which will be in the detective fiction genre. In a few words, I'll always be a student; that's what makes me an excellent teacher. I love teaching and learning, so share your doubts with me, and we can work out any problem together!

I use a practical approach for teaching. My experience has taught me that the best way to learn is through problem-solving exercises; in that way, I can incorporate theory with less abstract content. I do prefer to connect with my students by being friendly and making them laugh from time to time. Usually, my lessons do not exceed one hour, unless requested. I think more than that time, at least, without a break, could be too much for a student. I have been a chemistry teacher since 2016, when I began my PhD as a means to support my studies. I have worked as a chemistry teacher for two universities, one high school, and as an online tutor for a US company since the COVID-19 pandemic. As you have noticed, I have experience teaching students from 8th grade (Science) to adults at undergraduate and community colleges, and I enjoy teaching them all.
