About Nauman
I'm Nauman, a PhD engineer and researcher with over ten years of teaching experience across three countries. I currently work as a Research and Instrumentation Engineer at King's College London's Centre for Neuroimaging Sciences, where I design and build the kind of technology — signal processing systems, electronic instrumentation, embedded hardware — that most students only ever encounter on paper. That hands-on, real-world grounding is exactly what I bring into every lesson.
I hold a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Brunel University and an MSc in Electronics Engineering from Lund University, and I've taught at university level in Pakistan, Sweden, and the UK, consistently achieving 90%+ student satisfaction scores. I was awarded King's College London's Mentor of the Year award in recognition of my mentoring and teaching.
I tutor Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Physics, Maths, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Biomedical Engineering, from GCSE and A-Level through to undergraduate and postgraduate level. My goal in every lesson is simple: help you genuinely understand your subject — not just get through the next exam — by connecting the theory to how it's actually used in engineering practice. I'm patient, clear, and committed to making sure you leave every session more confident than when you arrived.

English
I believe engineering and science are best learnt by connecting theory to practice, not by memorising formulae in isolation. As a research engineer with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and an MSc in Electronics Engineering, I build real hardware and instrumentation for a living — so when I teach Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, or Maths, I can show you why a concept matters and where it's actually used, not just how to reproduce it in an exam answer.
My teaching methodology is project- and problem-based wherever possible. Rather than working through dry exercises, I like to anchor topics in real design challenges — circuit analysis, signal processing, embedded systems — so you build genuine understanding, not just exam technique. I use clear worked examples, structured problem-solving frameworks, and plenty of practice questions with detailed feedback, since I've found that clear expectations and iterative feedback make the biggest difference to student progress and confidence.
Lesson format
Lessons typically run 60 minutes (shorter or longer sessions available on request), delivered online or in person. Each session is built around your specific syllabus, coursework, or exam board, with a mix of concept explanation, guided problem-solving, and independent practice reviewed together. I set light homework between sessions where useful, and adjust pace to whether you need to build foundational understanding or focus on exam technique.
Qualifications & experience
I hold a PhD in Biomedical Engineering (Brunel University) and an MSc in Electronics Engineering (Lund University), and I currently work as a Research and Instrumentation Engineer at King's College London's Centre for Neuroimaging Sciences. I have over ten years of teaching experience across universities in Pakistan, Sweden, and the UK, teaching classes of 40–50 students in Digital Design, Electronics, Microelectronics, and Embedded Systems, alongside undergraduate project supervision. I've consistently achieved 90%+ student satisfaction scores and was awarded King's College London's Mentor of the Year award for my mentoring work.
Who my lessons are for
