About Don
I am now retired from a very successful career teaching at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta, and tutoring part-time for Athabasca University, a distance learning institution in Alberta. I have always enjoyed working with students and consistently received very positive teaching evaluations. I welcome the opportunity to continue sharing my expertise in writing and in English/Canadian Literature, and would also like to continue helping students to achieve their goals.

I have a doctorate in English Literature from the University of Alberta, specializing in Canadian Literature, and I have taught at the post secondary level for over thirty years. I also have considerable experience teaching at the secondary level. During my full time career teaching English at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, I also tutored part-time for Athabasca University, an on-line distance learning institution. I have also worked extensively with ESL students.
