About Natalia
Throughout my PhD I had many teaching opportunities. I have worked with undergraduate students during tutorials and practical lab sessions, helping them to perform and understand the experiments and write-up the lab reports. I have also supervised students during their final year research project, training them in experimental work and providing guidance for writing their dissertation.

Welcome to my profile!
I am an experienced tutor, passionate about teaching and would love to have you as one my students. I promise that you will not regret it!
I have just completed a PhD in chemistry at the University of Edinburgh. My PhD project consisted of a mixture of analytical chemistry, molecular biology experiments and computer simulations of biological systems. Previous to that I graduated with a first-class degree in chemistry from the Heriot-Watt University. My degree was based around the courses in physical, organic and inorganic chemistry, as well as cell and molecular biology, human metabolism, structural biology and genomics. On top of that, over the past years I completed research internships at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience (University of Queensland), MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology and the Australian Centre for Wildlife Genomics. I also worked at the Edinburgh International Science Festival, assisting in delivery of the University of Edinburgh science outreach activities. I have an in-depth knowledge of different areas of biology, with lots of practical experience in cell and molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics.
I fully commit to every lesson and try to make the learning process exciting and fun. I know that we are all different in the ways we like to learn so I adapt my lessons to individual needs of every student. There are no stupid questions in my lessons and I will do everything I can to make you excited about your subject and help you learn it well. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
