About Sebastian
I am an Associate with the School of Humanities at Canterbury Christ Church University. I hold a First Class Honours Degree in History (2010), A Masters in Islam and the West from Queen Mary University of London and a PhD from the University of Kent. I am fluent in Spanish.

I have taught at both the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University, and have tutored both A'level and undergraduates students locally. I also worked as a Senior Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) in the NHS for twenty years where I tutored trainee ODP's, nurses and medical students.
With each student I carry out a detailed assessment so as to ascertain what the curriculum or module requires, and I then tailor my tutoring to those areas where the student needs it the most. As part of this process, I familiarise myself fully with course or module content so as to be able to offer comprehensive but positive feedback. I also help by thoroughly proof reading for syntax and grammar.
