About Joseph
I have lived and worked professionally in Italy, Germany, Russia, China, Holland, and the United States, and am the recipient of many awards and recognitions, including the Aaron Copland Award, the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra’s Composition Prize, the Henry and Parker Pelzer Prize for Excellence in Composition, the Young, and Emerging Composers Award. I was also a Fulbright Scholar to the Russian Federation and the Netherlands, where I served as composer-in-residence with the Ensemble Studio New Music at the famed Moscow Conservatory. Recordings of my works are available on the Albany Records label, and my music is published by American Concert Editions, Murphy Music Press, LLC, and ADJ New Music Collective.
