About Nicholas
I am a PhD graduate with several published articles. I have edited several PhD dissertations and masters theses as well as worked as writing coach for the past four years. My expertise is primarily in the humanities but regardless of the subject, my passion is developing writing skills and argument clarity for students at every level.

My lessons are tailored to the needs of the students. I typically begin the tutoring relationship with an assessment of the student's goals. Once we establish the desired outcome, I assess the student's writing or research level through samples of their work.
The overall structure of my tutoring style is to work through writing assignments together with explanations for my edits and ways to improve the clarity of writing. We then set plans for what the student will work on and bring to the next meeting.
Most of my work has been with masters and doctoral level students but I have also worked with college level English composition students.
