About Mubariz
I am a PhD researcher in Geology with an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree Programme PANGEA. My academic journey has taken me across Europe, USA, and South Asia, where I have worked on internationally funded research projects, attended several trainings and summer schools, and presented in the conferences.
As a Gold Medalist in Geology and recipient of competitive international scholarships and travel awards, I understand the dedication required for academic success. I enjoy helping students not only achieve better grades but also develop genuine curiosity about Earth and its history. My goal is to make geology engaging, practical, and easy to understand while sharing insights gained through international research and field experiences.

My lessons are designed to build a strong conceptual understanding rather than relying on memorization. I combine clear explanations with interactive discussions, carefully selected reading material and hands-on exercises to help students understand and retain key geological concepts.
I use simple geological models and visual demonstrations to explain complex Earth processes. One of my favorite approaches is taking students on a journey through geological deep time, helping them visualize how mountains formed, oceans evolved and fossils were preserved. I also connect concepts with local, regional and global geological examples to develop a broader understanding of Earth systems.
To reinforce learning, I encourage students to prepare concise notes and begin each lesson with a short discussion of previous topics, ensuring continuous revision and long-term retention.

I attended Mubariz's four-month Physical Geology course based on Charles Plummer's textbook, which laid a strong foundation for my academic journey. The knowledge and confidence I gained from those sessions played an important role in helping me achieve a Gold Medal during my undergraduate studies and later secure the prestigious Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) for my master's degree at China University of Petroleum, Beijing.
Mubariz has a remarkable ability to identify a student's background and learning pace and then adapt his teaching to the student's level of understanding, making learning both enjoyable and effective. His analytical approach, patience, and passion for geology made learning both enjoyable and effective during my Master's programme at AGH University of Kraków, Poland.
