Soil Mechanics
I was really struggling with Soil Mechanics because many of the concepts felt abstract and difficult to visualise, especially topics like effective stress, consolidation, seepage, shear strength, and bearing capacity. After taking these lessons, everything started to make much more sense. What I appreciated most was that every concept was explained from a practical engineering perspective rather than just going through equations. Real-world examples, site scenarios, and simple sketches were used throughout the lessons, which helped me visualise what was actually happening beneath the ground. Every formula was derived with proper reasoning instead of asking me to memorise it. The tutor was incredibly patient and always encouraged questions, making every session interactive. These practical explanations completely changed the way I understood geotechnical engineering and gave me much more confidence for both assignments and exams.
