About Rafael
My methodology consists of helping the student to internalize the reasoning necessary to understand the subject. I like the student to understand what he is doing, and not just memorize methods for solving problems. In my experience, 99% of students in need of reinforcement are able to learn the content from different forms of explanation and individual attention. My classes tend to rely mainly on materials provided by students. I like to go over their notes and the explanations of their teachers, trying to solve students' doubts with different ways of explaining, and then dedicate a good part of the class to practical exercises, in which I encourage the student to think about the problem and do it with autonomy .

Hello, I am a PhD student in chemical engineering at Escola Politécnica da USP, in São Paulo. I have more than 3 years' experience giving private lessons in chemistry, physics and mathematics to students (elementary, middle and high school).
