Terrie is not only very knowledgeable about biology, but she also has a passion for it that shows in her teaching. We worked together in a homeschool co-op for years, and I also know her through 4-H. I have known Terrie for nearly 20 years. She was the SeaGrant County Extension Agent and she assisted us in working with local Vietnamese Shrimpers, as well as young high school students attending Camp SeaPort. Her excellent skills as an educator, including her ability to work with people across language barriers are extremely valuable. She knows how to make learning fun, while relating it to the student's own experiences. Finally, her knowledge of biology and other sciences makes her a teacher that you want on your team!
