Lessons will be catered to your learning style. I like to take a structured approach where a student's goals are known beforehand. I aim to improve a student's confidence by actively working to embed knowledge and reinforce key foundational concepts, allowing them to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject. Active exam techniques will be taught, and revision ideas provided as well. The first lesson typically involves me assessing a student's ability, responsiveness to different learning techniques, and the current curriculum they follow. This will enable us to decide on a student's goals that they aspire to achieve with tutoring. We can then decide how to structure our sessions to best progress a student's ability. From then on, weekly lessons will integrate the learnings of previous weeks to improve the retrieval of content taught. I like to empower students so they feel confident enough to teach me the topics we will cover! My kind nature makes the mistakes of learning feel comfortable, too. I’m here to support you on the journey, which is ultimately yours to make.
