About Molly PhD
I hold a PhD from the University of Edinburgh in International Development/ Social Work. Between 2020 and 2026 I ran tutorials for the School of Social and Political Science. During this time I enjoyed developing curriculum and helping students throughout
their education journey. I taught exam skills and writing skills for the Student Development Office and was a marker in several courses. I wish to continue supporting students in their writing and developing methodological skills. I understand the pressure and needs of the students. I am trained in teaching methods for Neurodivergent students, ADHD, ADD, Anxiety, ESL and more.
My own research looks at the built environment and how it impacts population health and wellbeing. I use a sustaibaility framework and participatory methodology. I also specialize in research with children and young people and am currently researching children's rights in Scotland.
My lessons are bespoke to the students needs. We can start with brainstorming ideas for your essay, outlining or developing methodology and data collection, or just editing and proofreading and formatting references. I supervise undergraduate dissertations and peer review academic articles for publication.

"Molly was an outstanding tutor for the course: 'International Development, Aid and humanitarianism.' Her tutorials were consistently engaging due to her prepared tutorial sides. discussion questions, and most importantly, her engagement with the tutor groups. She brought up points which were discussed in the lectures as well as continuing the discussion into broader points of the course/topic. She also created a comfortable atmosphere to encourage discussion without feeling any judgement. I felt as if I really grew in her class."View more recommendations
