About Xavier Verstraeten
Scientific, industrial, advertising and editorial photographer. Expert in the management of natural and artificial light applied in the latest technologies of digital imaging. Extensive experience in the edition of brochures and visual books; preparation of environments, scenarios, organization of events, public relations, dealing with national and international clients, PM, Director and coordinator of multiple projects. Enough experience in the cultural, artistic, editorial and teaching field.

Theoretical and practical From 1983 to 1987 I worked and collaborated with photographers and art directors in London and New York: Laboral Tony Palladino, Anne Day, Terry Hudson, Togashi and Lizzie Himmel, among others, producing photographic productions for advertising agencies and "British Leyland", "House & Garden", "Architectural Diggest" and "The New York Times", among others. I collaborated in the integral photographic production of the book "The New York Public Library" by Henry Hope Reed. Between 1988 and 1995 in Buenos Aires I made photographic productions for local and foreign magazines: Elle, Veranda, A & D, D & D Decoration and Fashion, Claudia Moda y Cocina, Sojourn and Summa. Photographer of the books: "Estancias Argentinas", "Cafés de Buenos Aires", "Tables of Buenos Aires", "The Bosch Palace" and "Great Residences of Buenos Aires", among others. Advertising photography for: "Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries", Du-Pont Argentina "," Buenos Aires Stock Exchange "," Laboratorio Bagó "," Betchel "," Fletcher Challenge, Ltd. ", and" Makro Supermarkets ", among others. Photographer of the exhibitions: "Architectural Heritage of Buenos Aires", made for the World Conference of the Preservation Program of the Ministry of Culture. "British Presence in the Heritage of Buenos Aires", made on the occasion of the visit of Prince Charles of England. In 1996, I launched my publishing label "Ediciones Verstraeten", whose main activity is the edition of luxury visual books that promote the Cultural, Artistic and Natural Heritage of Argentina.
