About Lhéaux
Salut! Mon nom c'est Lhéaux (My name is Lhéaux). I'm a lifelong thespian, dancer for 20 years, graduate of LSU's Physical Theatre Program and experienced in arts-integration with the Lafayette Public School System for a year.
I'm a nature lover, cultural preservationist, cadien and queer artist as well as a puppeteer and improviser!
If you're interested in nurturing your inner artist and living a creative life, joyous and free, you've definitely found the tutor to collaborate with! I truly believe in steady growth through concrete action steps (even a crooked baby step is a step) and accepting ourselves exactly where we are on our journey-- this way we improve one day at a time.

Student-based approach to collaborate on goals and pave your pathway through the dance world and to further creative expression.
TYPICAL LESSON
1) artistic check-in: milestones, action step accountability, etc.
2) warmup: nurturing healthy habits
3) area-of-focus training (ex: circumstances, objectives, callback work, memorization, mock audition, etc)
4) reflection: what did we notice, what went well, what can be worked?
5) affirmations and an action step for next week
I have worked through The Artist's Way (Julia Cameron) and tutor both as a means of creative expression and service to people interested in nurturing their artistic nature. I'm a cultural preservationist, cadien, and queer artist promoting a safe space for every body!
Lessons are for ages PK-Adult. We work together to reach your goals one day at a time :0)
