About Jonathan

-I am a career physician and lifelong student
-I know what it's like to struggle with concepts that don't make sense or an inability to retain information
-I am not here to judge or discourage. I want my pupils to succeed and thrive and I cherish being able to help others overcome obstacles
-I take my lessons and learning seriously but I am about as easygoing as it gets
-Professionalism and respect are core tenets of my tutoring services
-Just because a subject matter is complex and involved does not mean it has to be a painful learning experience
-Using tools that I have developed throughout my education and learning concepts that have helped me succeed after previous hardship, I am confident that I can help all my students achieve their goals

About the lesson

I am a down-to-earth, patient, and open-minded individual that believes that laughter makes life and learning easier. Learning science shouldn't have to be boring or tedious and we will remedy that.

Lessons will derive from targeted curriculum needed and include drawings, brain teasers, stress-free recall games, and organized notes tailored to the subject of interest.

Available to tutor students in K-12, AP, college-level Biology, and other advanced courses.

Lessons will begin with an assessment of student's needs, individual reflection on subject matter learning difficulties, and routine goal setting to monitor educational progress.

Rates are set on a spectrum based on the complexity of the science course being taught. Basic and elementary science course tutoring do not require as involved and methodical course preparation and instruction as advanced biomedical sciences. Prices are open to negotiation but final decision on tutoring rates will remain with the tutor and will be determined by the overall needs of the student.
