About Swapna

Hi! I'm a passionate Physics tutor and currently a PhD researcher at Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Ireland, specialising in semiconductor physics and photonics.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics and a Master's degree in Physics with a specialisation in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. I graduated at the top of my Master's class and have experience teaching undergraduate students as well as providing private tuition in Physics and Mathematics.

My passion for teaching comes from my belief that Physics is not a difficult subject when it is explained in the right way. I genuinely enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable ideas and helping students discover that Physics can actually be interesting and enjoyable!

I am patient, friendly, and approachable, and I encourage students to ask questions without hesitation. I understand that every student learns differently, so I always aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment.

For me, teaching is more than helping students pass exams. It's about building their confidence, developing their curiosity, and inspiring them to enjoy learning.

I believe Physics becomes much easier and more interesting when students understand the concepts rather than simply memorising formulas.

My lessons are designed to make Physics simple, engaging, and enjoyable for students of different learning abilities. I focus on building a strong foundation in fundamental concepts, developing problem-solving skills, and helping students gain confidence in the subject.

I adapt my teaching methods to each student's individual needs and learning pace. I use real-life examples, visual explanations, interactive discussions, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques to make even challenging topics easier to understand.

For Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students, I combine conceptual understanding with exam-focused practice, including past examination questions and effective problem-solving strategies.

My goal is not just to help students achieve better grades, but to encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and a genuine interest in Physics.

Typical lesson duration: 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student's requirements.
