About Kevin
I'm 24 years old. I have a BSc degree in chemical physics (UCC) and am now studying a master's degree in chemistry. My studies have me based in Switzerland at the moment, so grinds will have to be virtual! In my undergrad degree, I was the #1 graduate from the programme. I also achieved a H1 in Leaving Cert maths, chemistry and physics. As a recent student, I have a really good knowledge of what questions come up in exams, and which topics are important in order to maximise your potential. I like finding ways to make concepts more understandable and approachable. As Einstein said, "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler".

I can teach maths, physics and chemistry (except for organic chemistry!) I'm now quite experienced in the physical sciences, but still young enough to remember what concepts students find most difficult. I like to encourage students to think proactively about how to solve problems, and then give my process on how to find the solution. In terms of my tutoring experience, I have tutored maths at both Leaving and Junior Cert levels, with excellent results. Lessons can either be 60 mins or 90 mins depending on what your preference is! Before each lesson, I always suggest letting me know what topic you want to cover so I can prepare some material and practice questions.
