About Ellena
I am an undergraduate physics student at the University of St Andrews looking to gain experience in tutoring and also just help younger students through the struggles of being a student - I was once in your shoes and I know it's tough but it will come to an end!
I have had many experiences in trying all types of revision techniques and I have a pretty good idea of what usually is most beneficial to people, though of course revision is very personalisable.
I was usually the student people came to for answers and explanations throughout high-school and college and so now I am using my skills to help the younger-mes get through the challenges of being a student.

I am well aware of how stressful being a student can be at times and how overwhelming revision may seem - especially when exam season draws near - but I personally have found that my mindset towards revision and exams was the most important and I want to help other students see this too. Revision can be done in so many forms and I am happy to help with whatever works for you (and I can help find this if you are unsure), even now I still find flashcards, active recall, and past exam papers to be most effective for myself. We can spend our lessons doing whatever you like, whether that be me going through past paper questions, me explaining content in a different way to what you may have been taught if it helps you learn better or simply me just answering any questions you may have.
Lessons can be any length that works for you!
