About Matthew
I have been passionate about Physics since I was a young child, choosing to study it at university before I had even started my GCSEs. After studying for my Masters degree, I worked in research for 3 years before moving in to teaching. I have taught now for 20 years at a leading independent school and find it the most rewarding career one can choose.

Students learn best when doing. Over a 60 minute lesson I would expect my students to be actively working through problems with me to apply and understand the principles we discuss. Students must also be dedicated, I will set homework tasks to be submitted in between lessons for me to review to monitor their progress and ensure lessons proceed at the right pace for the student.
