About Michael
I am currently a PhD candidate in musicology in my fifth year at McGill. I pursued my Masters' at the University of Ottawa, where I completed my degree in musicology. I did my undergraduate degree in Brandon, Manitoba where I completed a degree in piano performance. During the course of my education, I have traveled throughout North America and Europe as both a musician and as a music researcher. These experiences have helped shape my vision as a teacher. I have also been a student of many great teachers and professors and have been influenced by their pedagogical approaches to the piano.
