About Rohan
Hello, my name is Rohan Patel and i can say that i am a pianist. Music in my eyes is an art form with endless possibilities. I started my journey through this art and the age of 8 and have continued to play the piano ever since. I've had a passion for music ever since i was a child. My parents would play classical songs such as Claire De Lune as i'd fall asleep in their arms. However, now as a young adult, the passion for music hasn't left me. I listen to a lot of Indie Rock from one of my favorite bands wave to earth. As a student in school i understand the stress that a lot of us can go through however through music i hope you can find a way to escape that feeling.

I like to teach my student by using spaced repetition as in the ABRSM exams the structure is very simplistic. I ask my students on the first day of their lesson how well can they play the keyboard. If they are beginners i first teach them the basics even before trying to pick a piece. In my eyes the more time you take refining your memory and skill when playing the keyboard, the more likely you are going to achieve the higher scores. A typical lesson with me is around an hour and in that hour we try to complete as much as we can. I have tutored many people in my school and they have achieved the high passes and distinctions. My lessons are normally aimed at the younger individuals who want to take an instrument and are willing to put in work for the high distinction grades. I want to be able to bring your child on a journey to becoming a very professional pianist.
