About Matt
I'm originally from a small village in Yorkshire, England, where I took piano lessons for 10 years from age 7. Nowadays, I'm a freelance composer and sound assistant for TV and film.
Having studied with a tutor and worked my way through grades 1-8, I have a sound appreciation of the learning process and how to make the most of each lesson.

Learning piano should be fun! We will work through pieces that are enjoyable to learn while challenging enough to build competence. If desired, learners can work through grades (1-8), which help give structure and goals to work towards.
Lessons will be 30 minutes long, which is an ideal time to work with a tutor while demonstrating the progress that's been made at home outside of the session.
I welcome all ages from 7+ and all levels.
I took lessons for 10 years and worked through all 8 paino grades. I used to look forward to my weekly lessons. I want to help others develop their interest in piano, which can bring lifelong joy and satisfaction.
