About Iaroslav
Hello my dear future students :) My name is Yaroslav, I am from the cultural city of Saint Petersburg in Russia. I am 18 years old, but am already an experienced teacher. Speaking about myself, I am an experienced pianist who ended music school in 2022 with an average marks score of 4.9/5. After the official graduation, I continued developing my piano skills myself, learned and performed various classical pieces, including "La Campanella" of Liszt which is considered one of the most difficult piano songs of all time. I also participated in multiple concerts on the famous stages, including Mariinsky Theater in Saint Petersburg, and international competitions, where I was a 1st place laureate. I have always liked sharing my skills with other people and teach them. Teaching brings me happiness and brightens my day. I am very determined to share my experience with everyone who likes music and truly wants to be part of the musical world. My lessons are filled with fun, motivation, and progress — a space where each student feels comfortable, supported, and free to grow at their own pace.

For Beginners – Lesson Progression: Months 1–3: Learn basic piano skills and introductory music theory. Start playing simple one-hand melodies and your first songs. Months 4–6: Begin coordinating both hands. Play early-stage songs that involve right and left hand together. Months 7–12: Gradually move to more complex pieces. Develop melodic thinking and musical phrasing. Learn to play with expression and understand the musicality behind each performance. For Experienced Players (1+ Year): Repertoire is selected based on the student's current skill level, with a gradual increase in difficulty. Song choices are mostly guided by the student’s personal interests and musical goals. I provide lessons for people aged 7+. Typical length of a lesson is 1 hour.
