About Vanessa
My passion for piano education developed through years of study, performance, and teaching across diverse learning environments. I earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Music Education, focusing on technique, pedagogy, and musical interpretation. Over 11 years of experience, I have guided students toward confidence and clarity through patient, structured instruction. I believe strong teaching is rooted in listening, adaptability, and encouragement. Each student learns differently, and I adjust lessons to support individual strengths while addressing challenges carefully. My approach emphasizes understanding, consistency, and musical curiosity. Outside teaching, I continue studying repertoire, pedagogy, and performance practice. Teaching piano is fulfilling because I witness students grow in confidence, discipline, and expressive ability as they discover their own musical voice.

Intermediate learners deepen control through scale work, pedaling awareness, expressive phrasing, and stylistic exploration. Advanced students focus on tonal refinement, interpretive depth, performance preparation, and musical storytelling.
