About Paige
My passion for piano began through fascination with melody, harmony, and artistic storytelling through music. This interest inspired me to complete a PhD in Piano Interpretation, where I explored advanced performance techniques, musical expression, and teaching methods in greater depth. During the past 10 years, I have guided students from different musical backgrounds through lessons that feel encouraging, inspiring, and creatively supportive.
I enjoy helping students feel comfortable at the piano and discover their own musical identity through steady learning and practice. My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, healthy technique, and artistic expression because every learner experiences music differently. Some students improve through repetition and structured exercises, while others gain confidence through improvisation and creative exploration. I carefully adapt lessons to ensure every learner feels supported and motivated throughout their musical journey.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring piano repertoire, composition, and performance styles to keep my lessons engaging and fresh. Staying connected to music allows me to bring artistic inspiration and practical performance ideas into lessons. I want students to improve not only technically but also emotionally through stronger confidence and creativity. Helping learners express themselves through piano remains one of the most meaningful parts of my teaching experience.

My piano lessons focus on helping students develop musical understanding through structured practice and creative exploration. I teach rhythm training, finger coordination, sight reading, chord progressions, improvisation, dynamics, and musical interpretation using methods that make learning feel rewarding and approachable. Lessons are designed to help students understand music deeply instead of relying only on memorization. I create a supportive atmosphere where learners feel comfortable improving steadily through guided practice and encouragement.
Every lesson is personalized according to the student’s experience level and musical interests. Beginners receive patient support with posture, note reading, hand coordination, and rhythm exercises, while advanced learners strengthen technical precision, expression, and performance ability. I include scales, listening activities, duet exercises, and interpretation discussions that help students improve naturally over time. Students preparing for performances or examinations receive additional support with stage preparation and confidence-building techniques.
I believe piano becomes more meaningful when students feel emotionally connected to music and comfortable expressing themselves creatively. My lessons aim to replace frustration with enjoyment and steady progress through patient explanation and supportive learning. Many students gradually become more expressive, disciplined, and confident as their understanding grows stronger. My goal is to help learners build strong musical foundations while developing creativity and confidence that support long-term musical growth.
