About Edwina
"Teaching piano is my full-time career after 13 years of stage and studio work. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from Trinity College London. My process covers ABRSM and Trinity grade exam prep alongside foundational music theory.
Students often work on sight transposition and memorization techniques as part of their regular study. We also refine posture and hand position, hand independence, and jazz improvisation styles. Pop and contemporary repertoire and accompaniment skills round out the technical focus. Watching someone build confidence in their own musical voice is the most rewarding part of this work."

"Focus is everything. I provide a short recorded playback of each session so students can review at home.
These recordings allow for deeper analysis of specific passages and technical exercises. With 13 years of performance history, I structure time to ensure progress is audible.
My background from Trinity College London informs every exercise we complete together. We dedicate time to classical repertoire and stylistic variety during our hour.
Students engage with specific goals to track their growth across the weeks. Regular reviews of past recordings help us maintain a steady momentum. You will move closer to your performance goals with every passing session."
