About Evgenia
I give piano lessons and music theory since 2004 in several conservatories in Greece and I am especially excited to prepare a program of musical activities that can help children and young adults to learn, to experiment and improvise with the music. Through these games, the goal is not only to gain knowledge but also broaden its perception of music or sound, to better understand the relationship we have with our acoustic environment.

My studies were based on the Orff approach and on the Kodály method. Studies have shown that this method improves performance vis-à-vis student intonation, rhythmic skills, musical culture, and their ability to sing more complex compositions. Apart from the musical aspect, this method improves the perceptual operation, conceptualization, motor skills and student performance in academic subjects. The Orff approach, in turn, encourages young people to experience music according to their own approach, and explore their potential through improvisation. Based on the principle "first Experiment, then intellectualize", this approach helps to form concepts and musical techniques.
