About Nelie
Learning the piano is a rewarding journey, and I enjoy helping college students make steady progress at every stage. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I create lessons that are well-structured, enjoyable, and tailored to each student's individual learning needs.
My teaching style combines patience, clear communication, and practical learning. I explain musical concepts in simple English, demonstrate techniques carefully, and encourage students to build confidence through regular practice and positive reinforcement.
I use innovative teaching methods such as digital learning resources, ear training, rhythm exercises, interactive music activities, and customized practice routines. These techniques help students stay motivated while developing strong technical skills and musical understanding.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger techniques, rhythm, dynamics, musical expression, and performance confidence. I provide continuous guidance, personalized feedback, and practical advice to help students achieve their goals and develop a lifelong appreciation for piano.

My teaching style combines practical learning with patient guidance. Every student is unique, so I create personalized lesson plans that match their learning needs and help them progress comfortably.
I explain musical concepts through real-life examples and simple case studies. Students learn rhythm through daily movements, understand scales and chords through familiar songs, and discover how music is used in performances. This practical learning approach makes lessons enjoyable and memorable.
Understanding is always more important than speed. I teach every topic carefully and make sure students understand each lesson before introducing new material. This builds confidence and long-term musical knowledge.
Communication is an important part of my classes. I explain lessons in simple English, provide live demonstrations, and encourage students to ask questions freely. Regular feedback helps students improve after every lesson.
Integrity is reflected through honesty, dedication, fairness, and respect. I encourage students to stay disciplined, practice regularly, and appreciate every small achievement.
Besides piano, I also teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm exercises, improvisation, accompaniment, finger techniques, and beginner music composition.
