About Eero
I am a piano tutor with 9 years of experience and a B.Mus in Piano Performance along with an M.Mus in Music Pedagogy. I specialize in developing technical skill, expressive interpretation, and collaborative performance. I teach beginners foundational techniques, intermediate learners expressive phrasing and improvisation, and advanced learners complex repertoire and ensemble work. Lessons combine technical exercises, repertoire, creative exploration, and performance coaching. My teaching approach is adaptive, encouraging, and focused on individual progress. Beginners build foundational skills, intermediate learners refine phrasing and expression, and advanced learners develop stylistic nuance and ensemble confidence. Feedback is continuous, constructive, and personalized. Lessons balance technical skill, musicality, and creative expression. Outside teaching, I perform, study repertoire, and mentor students for recitals and ensemble events. Teaching piano allows me to witness learners grow in skill, musicality, and confidence. My mission is to cultivate pianists who are versatile, expressive, and inspired to pursue music creatively throughout life.

Intermediate learners refine phrasing, sight-reading, harmonic understanding, improvisation, and expressive nuance. Advanced learners explore complex repertoire, stylistic interpretation, performance preparation, and collaborative ensemble work. Lessons integrate structured exercises, creative exploration, duet practice, and performance simulations to ensure comprehensive development.
Lesson plans are tailored to each learner’s level. Beginners practice posture, hand placement, and basic melodies. Intermediate learners enhance phrasing, sight-reading, and musical interpretation. Advanced learners focus on stylistic nuance, improvisation, ensemble collaboration, and performance readiness. Exercises include technique drills, repertoire study, duet sessions, and simulated performances. Feedback emphasizes technical precision, expressive depth, and musical sensitivity. Lessons cultivate confident, versatile pianists ready to perform solo or with others.
