Now, I have been giving lessons for about a year at reasonable prices. 2 middle school students wanted me to teach them more about music theory and be more confident in playing piano. I have noticed that their focus and attention span increased over time.

When I took piano lessons in middle school, I had a teacher from Julliard. I would enjoy playing on her Steinway piano and playing new sheet music and songs I would enjoy. That time spent learning from my piano teacher motivated me to want to pass on my knowledge to other people who want to be able to learn piano. I have challenged myself by attempting the A.B.R.S.M. Grade 8 test and passed. I cater my lessons based on the student's knowledge and needs. My method of teaching involves techniques and music theory books to build the foundation what one should be able to tackle any song they choose and confidently sight read without giving up.
