About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to individual students and will depend on subject, experience and level of education. Sessions can be 45 minutes to two hours, and are particularly well suited to poetry students and those wanting to improve their creative writing and essay writing skills.

I am a published non-fiction author, my book Visualising The Beatles was published by HarperCollins, and has since been translated into four languages, with publishing deals in the UK, Spain, France, Germany, and Brazil. I am signed to Defiore & Co literary agency in New York.

I am also a published poet, with poems published or upcoming in Poetry Review, Cordite Poetry Review, New Ohio Review, Poetry Online, and many others. I have an MA in creative writing from the University of Sussex, and an MFA in poetry from Manchester Metropolitan University.
