About Rupantar
I have been training since I was 3 years old and believe always to be a student for life when it comes to dancing.
I’ve been trained in dance styles like Bharatnattyam (Indian classical), Indian contemporary, Bollywood style, Hip-hop (Old school hip hop/ Popping and locking/ House/ Breaking), Street Jazz.
I started choreography at a very small age learning through mistakes and leading to help dance teams win competitions at various levels.
I’ve also professionally worked as a freelance dancer with dance companies like Nrityarutya Indian Contemporary Dance Company, Bangalore India.
Trying to learn and teach at the same time to share knowledge and skills with whoever is interested and just want to have fun through body movements.

It’s not just about learning the skill but also knowing the history of each dance style - where and how it developed over the years. My approach to teaching dance is unique in a way where you understand body movements and how to use the space around you. It doesn’t stop there but you learn how to creatively think beyond your first natural response. And of course a lot of fun learning and growing with each style.
