About Elisha
I am a pre-service primary teacher at ECU. I have been tutoring students ranging from years 1 to 11 for the past 3 years. I have my police clearance as well as a Working With Children Check. I am currently tutoring 6 children a week and due to my teaching knowledge gained from university, I believe I am very suited to the role and can help children reach their goals and feel confident with their learning. I have achieved my WACE and received a predicted ATAR score of 85. Due to having younger siblings, I work very well with children and ensure they feel comfortable with their tutoring experience.

I like to teach students in a variety of ways depending on their learning style. I like to take a step-by-step approach that allows children to clearly see what is happening and understand where their answers are coming from. I also like drawing connections to the outside world. When children can apply their learning to their everyday lives, it gives them a greater understanding on what to do when it comes to tackling the question.
I will begin each session recapping previous work with a custom worksheet or target questions. Following this, we will work on the work at hand and conclude with an overall summary.
