About Juanmario
I've tutored other classmates while in high school multiple times, and have tutored freshman college students taking college calculus 1 or 2, so I have plenty of past experience tutoring. My total tutoring done total has to be around 10 people in the span of a year. I'm not attending a university at the moment due to unfortunate circumstances, so I have plenty of time I can put to use helping YOU. Lastly, I'm 19 years old, and though not able to attend university at the moment, I'm a student, just like you. I get where you are right now, and I get the struggle. If there's anyone that can help you get better at math, it's someone who understands what you're going through.

As a student, I was never much of a notetaker or grinder. I believe the best way to understand mathematics is to really understand concepts, and it's worked out for me plenty.
My way of tutoring is made for you to understand the lesson, and have it be so the next is easier, trying to mitigate the immense memorization no one likes to do in math. The best way for this includes a lot of failure while trying to do problems, but the best way to learn math as I've experience is my failing problems, learning, and applying to the next. Sometimes one step backward, two steps forward, right?
I oftentimes let students do problems on their own, with minimal help, and once they have an answer for me, we go back and look at the problem again together. This is just so you start practicing the critical thinking that's needed in math, and get you used to finding the right method when you get stuck on a problem when you're on your own, like in a test.
Overall, I may change some things depending on the person, but at my core I like to stick to these principles while tutoring.
