KS1 and KS2 SATs preparation

My lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs, ensuring they feel supported, confident, and motivated to learn.
In the first (free) session, I carry out a short assessment to understand your child’s current level, strengths, and areas for development. This allows me to plan targeted lessons that help them make steady progress.
A typical lesson includes:
A quick recap to build confidence
Clear teaching of a key skill (e.g. phonics, reading, maths concept)
Guided practice with support
Independent practice to закреп learning
Positive feedback and next steps
For younger children (KS1), lessons are interactive and engaging, using visual aids and practical activities to keep them focused and enjoying learning.
For KS2 pupils, lessons focus on building strong foundations in Maths and English, developing problem-solving skills, and preparing for SATs where appropriate.
I aim to create a calm, encouraging environment where children feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions, helping them grow in both ability and confidence.
Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes and take place online in the evenings.
