About Ester
In 2015 I completed my Bachelor of Music majoring in cello with Professor Paulo Gaio Lima. After that I continued my studies at the University of the Arts in Bremen. I have been gaining experience as a music teacher since 2009. I have already given individual and group cello lessons at the Instituto Español de Lisboa, the Blankenese Music School, and the Escola Portuguesa de Moçambique. At the same time, I remain active in the music scene with chamber music and orchestral performances.

Since the cello is extremely similar to the human voice, anyone can quickly identify with this instrument. It is important for me to show the students as much as possible so that they get a good basis for playing together in groups and ensembles, or for playing and practicing for themselves. Every student is different and needs different attention in different things, so it is important to always be flexible and to filter out who likes or dislikes which things in order to make good progress.
