About Selçuk
I am a final year English Language and Literature student. I am in the final stage of the ALAP accredited TESOL certificate, which has international validity, through the British English Board. I completed the OLS exam at C2 level, which I took at the beginning of my 7-month Erasmus process and is valid throughout Europe. In addition to my theoretical knowledge, I also taught English in a private language course for 7 months, in addition to the private lessons I gave from time to time. First, I administer a placement test to determine the student's level. I prepare the most suitable program according to the results. Contrary to the teacher-centered approach, which is a traditional education method, my lessons are predominantly student-centered and the teacher encourages the student to speak by reducing the teacher talking time. In addition, our controlled and free exercises right after the warm-up and presentation stages do not impose the key points of the course by rote and make them permanent.
