Private French Lessons – Middle & High School
As an independent teacher, I offer personalized support in French for students from 6th to 12th grade (all series).
My goal: to help each student make lasting progress, regain confidence and succeed in their assessments by developing their skills in expression, comprehension and analysis.
Course objectives:
Master the fundamental rules of grammar, conjugation and spelling
Improve understanding of literary and documentary texts
Learn to write clearly and methodically (story, dissertation, commentary, summary, etc.)
Prepare for official exams: brevet, French baccalaureate (written & oral)
Develop an effective methodology for all types of exercises
Enrich vocabulary and structure thinking
Course outline for a typical lesson:
Quick needs assessment or feedback on an assignment/exercise in progress
Clear and illustrated explanation of misunderstood concepts (spelling, style, figures of speech, literary movements, etc.)
Targeted training using progressive exercises
Accompanied writing or improvement of homework
Methodological advice for organizing your ideas and succeeding in writing and speaking
End of session review and points to rework
Practical information:
Home or online courses
Middle school students (6th to 9th grade) and high school students (10th, 11th, 12th grade)
Specific preparation for the early French baccalaureate exams
Hourly rate declared in CESU (gives right to a 50% tax credit)
Sessions of 1 hour or 1 hour 30 minutes depending on needs
