About Rin
I was born in Tokyo and moved to the UK when I was 9 years old. I began my training with the Royal Ballet School Junior Associates and then progressed to the Royal Ballet School Lower School, and finished my last 3 years of training with the English National Ballet School on a full scholarship. I am now a professional ballet dancer based in London. I have worked with the English National Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, and the Andrew McNicol Collective and Opéra national du Capitole. I am happy to offer private classes in your home, or in a studio if you are able to arrange one. I myself, am on this dancing journey as much as you are, and this is our chance to help you achieve your goals.

I have trained at the Royal Ballet School and the English National Ballet School in Britain, as well as the Cecchetti Syllabus in Italy. I like to combine both methods into one lesson, as they provide a clear and logical pathway of technical progression with inherent musicality and a unique sense of style, which are the core foundations of any great dancer. My lessons will be tailored to each individual student, as I understand the importance of a strong teacher-student relationship. This personalised approach is promised when studying ballet with me. With my lessons, it's not just about learning ballet—it's about having someone by your side emotionally too. I welcome students of all levels and experiences and encourage you to get in touch. All classes will be conducted over Zoom.

Perfect! Rin knows how to adapt and listen to your needs and expectations. His ballet online exercises with music were perfect for me and his explanations were great to understand the technique. He shows exercises with some variations to be more challenging. I enjoyed his natural passion to transmit his art.
