About Jung sun
I'm a Dutch Korean female, who lives in London since 2011. More than 20 years karate experience and 10 years of teaching experience. I am a patient, detailed and disciplined teacher to adults and children and enjoy to see the growth of each individual.

About the lesson

Karate: The karate training is based on Kyokushin kai Karate, a modern full contact style. However with my chi qong/movement experience I will alter my lesson in a way that I believe is best for my student. Each lesson will start and include with kihon (only techniques), kata (sequences of kihon) and punch/kick pads. Location: Karate lessons will only be outdoors or at home if I believe is suitable.
I trained for more then 20years in officially attached Dojo´s, Im not associated with any Dojo nor have set up my own dojo with international associations. Meaning I can not officially give out grades. I know this happens a lot in many ´dojo´-like places. But i think its good to know. But I will keep my personal and official guidelines in my teaching so that my students progress on a private level. Although i come from a full contact karate background and believe a true martial artist knows how to fight physically, my teaching will limit direct contact and I advise my students to join a Dojo to have the opportunity of sparring with multiple students and to be able to participate in fighting competitions too.
About: I’m a versatile Teacher and Coach. I work one to one or in a group (karate). I'm highly experienced in Acting, karate and movement. My lessons are enjoyable, with precision and flows with energy. I look forward to share my knowledge! Please ask me any questions you have.

Perfect! I recently attended a karate Sensei Jung, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The instructor was incredibly skilled, with a deep understanding of both the physical techniques and the philosophy behind karate. She took the time to explain each movement clearly, making sure that both beginners and more advanced students could follow along and improve

Our son has started learning this year with jung sun & when I tell you he has never been so happy with a teacher in any other activities of subjects he honestly hasn’t, she has really understood him as a child and what he’s needs are and tailored the lesson around he’s needs, she has taught him so much not just physically but mentally, she has taught him calming down techniques that have helped so much in other areas of life. We are extremely greatful to her and so happy that our son enjoys he’s 1-1 lessons with her so much!
