About Hossein
I’m Hossein Ellahi, a 29-year-old Australian professional footballer, coach, and mentor with a lifelong dedication to the game. With 24 years of playing experience and over a decade at the professional level, I bring a rich, global perspective to my coaching. My career has taken me across four continents and nine countries, starting with the MLS side Seattle Sounders in the United States, where I progressed from the U18 academy to the U23/Reserve squad. I’ve since played in Europe: Germany, Austria, France, and Gibraltar. In Asia, I’ve competed in Japan, Singapore, India, and Mongolia. In Australia, I’ve showcased my talents in the National Premier Leagues of New South Wales and Queensland. Beyond my playing career, I’m committed to developing the next generation of footballers. I hold an AFC C License and UEFA iCoachKids licenses, ensuring my coaching is grounded in the best practices of the sport. I have extensive experience as a one-on-one coach, working with individuals ranging from ages 5 to 60. I guide athletes in honing their skills and nurturing a love for the game. Additionally, I previously founded and ran a company dedicated to mentoring aspiring professional and USA collegiate athletes, helping them navigate the complexities of their athletic journeys and providing them with support on their strength and conditioning, nutrition, mental, and personal needs.
