About Alithu
I’m an Industrial Engineer with over 7 years of tutoring experience. I started tutoring my friends’ younger siblings when I was in high school and continued during college and after graduating. I have helped students prepare for different tests, including the ACT math section, AP Calculus AB and BC, college Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I & II, Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Physics. My favorite topics to teach are high school and college Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Arithmetic, Linear Algebra, Calculus, and Statistics. I particularly enjoy helping my students prepare for the math section of the ACT and gain the confidence to successfully take the test.
I’m patient, dedicated, and creative with lessons to ensure concepts make sense to my students. I also graduated Summa Cum Laude from university.

My methodology varies to adapt to the particular needs of my students. As we all learn in different ways, I try to utilize different examples and resources to ensure my students reach their potential in the subject.
I explain concepts, give examples, and allow my students to discover other techniques and shortcuts through guided exercises. I also let my students solve problems and then reflect on their thought process with them, which trains them to identify patterns and solve similar problems in the future.
