About Stephen
I'm Stephen - a lifelong musician with a specialism in music production using Logic Pro X. I've been teaching for over 7 years now, and I love sharing my skills and knowledge that helps people to achieve their own personal aspirations with music, audio, and media.
I hold 2 degrees in music and audio related topics (BSc, 1st Class, and MA Distinction Best Student in Cohort), and I have worked in professional audio settings for the last 6 years including 2 recording studios and 3 different educational settings across the Midlands.
I'm currently working as an audio engineer at Soundworks Birmingham, where I help people learn, record, and create all things digital audio. I've worked on albums, singles, EPs, podcasts, instrumentals, YouTube content, social media content... the list could go on.

Each lesson will last an hour, and will start off by determining your existing skills, and deciding how we can build on them during the sessions. My music technology university degrees and over 5 years of music tutoring in schools have given me a wide breadth of knowledge in music and audio. Each lesson will be targeted on supporting you build on music production skills that you feel you need help developing - from initial operation of Digital Audio Workstations and songwriting, to mixing, mastering, and distributing your music. All ages and levels of experience are suitable, as the scope of the lesson will be determined by your personal goals and aspirations.
