About Danijela
Hello! I’m Danijela.
I’m excited to share my passion for music with you! I hold a Master’s degree from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of working as a private teacher and in music schools, offering personalized lessons that nurture each student’s growth and help them achieve their musical aspirations.
I have participated in various masterclasses and music festivals, enhancing my skills and broadening my artistic horizons. I’ve performed in professional orchestras and have been awarded several scholarships that have supported my artistic development.
Currently, I’m pursuing my doctoral studies at McGill University.

I met Daniela at work in the Czech Republic, where we played together in an orchestra. She is not only a wonderful musician but also a good person. The sound of her cello gave me goosebumps, and I was always impressed by how sensitively she could convey the music and its meaning when performing solos. She always clearly prepares lesson plans and identifies exactly what needs to be worked on most. I definitely recommend her as a cello teacher!
Danijela is a highly dedicated teacher and always puts her focus on my needs. We mostly concentrate on technique right now and since I’m working with her, I don’t feel any physical tension or pain while playing (I thought I had to give up the instrument..!). She is super attentive and takes full care, I can always ask everything and she helps out. I’m glad I have met her and I can finally enjoy playing again!
