About Scott
Scott is a music teacher, performer, composer and musical director based in New Cross. He's been playing piano & percussion for over 20 years and has been teaching for over a decade.
Qualifications include:
First Class BA (Hons). - Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance
Orchestration Techniques for the Scoring Stage - Berklee College of Music
Orchestration for Musical Theatre Workshops - Larry Blank
Grade 8 Piano & Drum Kit - Trinity Guildhall
Outside of teaching, Scott works mostly composing for film and performing/musically directing theatrical productions across the west end, the UK & internationally.

Having trained in classical, jazz & pop styles, Scott likes to bring a hybrid blend of these worlds to his lessons, taking a relaxed and holistic approach to each student's specific needs and personality.
Scott teaches from his home in New Cross, at student's homes and online over zoom. He teaches beginners to advanced level pupils, both children and adults (his youngest and eldest students are four and seventy years old respectively - you're never too young or old to learn!) He likes to brings a hybrid blend of different genres to his lessons, taking a relaxed and holistic approach to each student's specific needs and personality.
