About Prabhat
Hi, I'm Prabhat, a professional dance instructor with over 10 years of experience and training under the legendary Terence Lewis. Dance has been a lifelong passion, and over the years I've had the opportunity to teach students from diverse age groups and skill levels, helping them discover confidence through movement.
I believe great teaching goes beyond demonstrating steps. My role is to understand each student's strengths, challenges, and goals, then guide them with patience, encouragement, and a structured learning approach. Seeing a beginner perform confidently or helping an experienced dancer refine their technique is what motivates me every day.
My training has given me a strong foundation in technique, musicality, and performance, but I also understand that every student learns differently. That's why I create a positive, judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace.
Whether you're learning for fitness, weddings, stage performances, or simply because you've always wanted to dance, my goal is to make every class enjoyable, engaging, and rewarding. Every student learns differently, so I don't believe in one-size-fits-all dance classes. Before we begin, I understand your goals, experience level, and learning style to create a training plan that works specifically for you. Whether you want to dance for fitness, confidence, weddings, stage performances, or simply as a hobby, every lesson is designed with your progress in mind.
My classes focus on building strong fundamentals first—rhythm, body control, posture, musicality, and technique. Once these are in place, we gradually move to choreography, performance skills, and expressive movement. This approach helps students not only learn routines but also become confident, independent dancers.
A typical class includes:
Warm-up and mobility exercises to prepare the body
Technique and foundation training
Step-by-step choreography with detailed breakdowns
Performance, expression, and musicality coaching
Feedback and personalized practice tips for faster improvement
What makes my teaching different is the attention every student receives. I break down complex movements into simple, easy-to-follow steps, ensuring that no one feels left behind.
