I use different learning approaches depending on the particulars of the class, such as:
- collaborative activities and discussions for small groups,
- close and open exercises for specific skills practice,
- vocabulary building and specific language exercises for exam prep,
- through to interactive story activities for younger learners
I have a PGCE and a CELTA qualification from the UK and have taught General English classes to adults through to primary, Science and Business concepts for high-school students, and early literacy classes to young learners.
Having lived in the UK, Asia and Australia and worked in business environments and in schools – I love connecting with students from different background, identifying their personal learning styles and needs and working closely with them to make solid gains.
Together with my students, I set out a personalised study programme, and give regular quizzes and reviews accordingly.
