About Luken
With a decade of experience teaching ESL, I specialise in guiding high school and college students towards achieving proficiency, fluency, and confidence in English. My teaching philosophy is student-centred and focuses on personalised learning, adapting lessons to suit each learner’s strengths, goals, and challenges.
I combine grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking instruction with interactive activities, discussions, and real-world examples, making lessons both practical and engaging. I am known for my patience, clarity, and ability to simplify complex concepts.

My ESL teaching methodology is grounded in Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving (C³P). Creativity is fostered through interactive storytelling, role-playing, and project-based activities that encourage students to explore language imaginatively and express themselves confidently.
Communication is emphasised through discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises that build fluency, listening skills, and comprehension. Problem-solving is integrated through scenario-based exercises, practical challenges, and analytical tasks, enabling learners to apply English effectively while strengthening critical thinking skills. I also teach complementary subjects such as reading comprehension, writing, and vocabulary development for a well-rounded learning experience.
